Abstract

Background. The energy consumption of the sensor node operating in the event registration mode is mainly determined by the consumption of the sensor sensor element. In this regard, the development of methods for reducing the energy consumption of a sensitive element is an urgent task.
Materials and methods. In existing technical solutions of sensitive elements on the basis of the measuring bridge, a measuring current is set, which determines the sensitivity of the bridge. With a decrease in the measuring current, the bridge sensitivity proportionally decreases, which implies the introduction of additional amplifier elements based on operational amplifiers.
Results. The proposed technique for reducing the energy consumption of the sensor element can be applied to sensors of various physical quantities, operating on the basis of a measuring bridge with a given measuring current.
Conclusions. Reducing the energy consumption of the sensor can significantly increase the life of the sensor node and increase the reliability of event recording in wireless sensor networks
